Hmm, maybe I should look at this just for Virtual On. Dual-stick support would be perfect for it.

But wouldn't the games have to support dual analog sticks in order to use them? Or is this something through button mapping?

I'm thinking this controller would work, with a PS1 controller to USB-C adapter: I know using my PSOne controller in emulators, if I push that button, it maps the d-pad to the left analog stick automatically. I think that would work on Dreamcast too.

Yeah, I think the game would have to support it in some way, which is why I mentioned Virtual On. That used the Twin Sticks, which this would help replace, but there's other games that supported them as well (not many, but at least ten). From what I understand, it's compatible with wired/wireless (PC adapter) 360 and wired PS3 controllers by default. Don't know how it would treat the original Dual Shock through an adapter, so be aware of that.
