Not yet. I've been trying to finish up God of War. I hope you've played Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) ... about 9 million times better!

Actually, it's one I can't talk about. The rebooted one is a very different beast from the old games.
I do concur, though, that DMC and Ninja Gaiden are superior to the God of War series. I've enjoyed the ones I've played (1/2/Chains), but they're not flawless by any stretch.

Ah, one of my least favorite trends, recycling old names when it's not even a remake, remaster, reboot, etc. Can't stand that! It can become a huge pain digging around the internet with this crap too.
Least it's not Xbox One. That one takes the cake and it's almost like a puzzle game trying to dig up original Xbox information nowadays.

Geez, tell me about it. That really annoyed me, because now I have to call it the "original XBOX". Ugh.

I'm trying to follow toei 's advice, and only play one game at a time. That's why I still haven't started anything yet for this thread. I'm trying to finish that Vita JRPG, which I've been dumping two hours a night into for the past week and a half. HLTB says it takes about 23 hours to finish, I've got 24 in it now (granted I've been doing some optional stuff), and am at the very last dungeon now. Should finish it tonight, and finally be clear to start hitting up these fan trans!

So, Fami adventure games. Finished Portopia the other evening (starting with a replay here), next up is Murder on the Mississippi. I'll post a full Portopia review later. Cool game!

Ex, I totally get wanting to focus on one game. I'm trying not to stray from the path myself!

So I was going to play Bahamut Lagoon, but the translation I've found is incomplete. All of the text seems to be fine, but some of the character stats are in what I assume is Japanese. Also I there is something that is all been translated into little squares that I imagine is important.
Any experience with this one? Links to a full translation? I've downloaded the one by Tomato, Dark Force, and Neill Corlett, presently.

Links to a full translation? The most recent patch is 1.3: www.romhacking.net/translations/280/Important: "The archive contains two ips files: one for emulators, and one for copiers (to be played on a real snes). Be sure not to mix them up! Dark Force is currently working on a copier bugfix, at which point he will release a new patch with correctly translated item names as well."
