The Face Shrine in the Link's Awakening remake is tremendous.

I'm not listening to that until I get to it Sarge! Anyways, here is why Japanese developers should not always hire ANIME composers for games. This has to be one of the worst RPG town themes I've ever heard:
The Night version gets worse:
Comments all over this OST joke about this composers obsession with "Ungh's" and "Yeah's".
This OST generally does work well and has some killer tracks, but yeah this isn't touching the majesty of the Xenoblade 1-2 / Torna OST's... which you know, have videogame composers who more know what they're doing.

XeogredI wonder what you'd think of Persona 3-5's OSTs. Anime composers indeed.

Xeogred I wonder what you'd think of Persona 3-5's OSTs. Anime composers indeed. Ugh yeah, that's another aspect of those games that my friends go googoo gaagaa for. I get the appeal and some of the stuff seems fun from what I've heard, but it's just not my jam at all. I bet it's the 16bit DNA in my blood, the Xenoblade OST's are what I prefer for JRPG's and stuff like Nier Automata.
Persona's contemporary Japan setting and school stuff doesn't do it for me either. SMT's always looked more interesting.
Plus, YAKUZA exists... and that's my virtual SEGA Japan! I can't wait to hit up Judgement next eventually.
(a minute into this one sounds like SoR3, SICK!!!!!!!!)
(Disclaimer: I'm half joking and know I'm being a bit unfair, but sorry folks... Persona has never looked that interesting to me! I know some obnoxious fans locally too. I'd rather play Dragon Quest XI etc).

Would be sick if there was an official mode to play the whole game with remixed tunes like that.

I like how Remedy saves their epic rock numbers for some seriously action-packed moments in their games. Control did not disappoint on this number.
They did it in Alan Wake as well.
