Yeah, at the time I thought the 32X was super cool and really wanted one, but in the end it just didn't have the games, and it really didn't make any sense in terms of the market considering the Saturn was right around the corner. Still a cool concept. The Sega CD at least had a few good exclusives. The 32X had some decent arcade ports (Virtua Fighter and Virtua Racing) that ended up being ported elsewhere, and that's about it. No one actually likes Knuckles Chaotix, since the central gimmick is so annoying. There's this one shooter called Kolibri that got good reviews back in the day.
The Nomad seemed super cool, too. An actual portable Genesis, back when the damn green-and-green GameBoy was king! Interestingly, NEC made almost all the same moves in Japan - there was a portable PC Engine called the GT, the PC Engine CD, and a failed successor released with no conviction (the Supergrafx) that was abandoned even faster than the 32. By the time the next generation NEC console came out, they had gone from a pretty serious contender to a niche company.

Recently a long lost Dreamcast beta was found and resurrected:
"Do you like ChuChu Rocket!? Of course you do. Anyone who has ever picked up a Dreamcast controller enjoys Sonic Team's insane grid-based space mouse puzzler. It's a classic, and for some, was an introduction into online console gaming. But not everyone is aware that ChuChu was actually supposed to be the first in a series of Dreamcast network-enabled games. The second game, Dee Dee Planet was actually completed by developer Dori Dock and ready to be released, but due to a bug in the online mode, was unfortunately cancelled at the last second. Ever since then, it has remained yet another intriguing mystery in the Dreamcast's (never-ending, it seems) legacy."
The article goes into more information, and has a link to download the game.
