lmao that looks amazing and awful. So many great details though. The crocs in the first pic, the Chuck E. Cheese style carpet, the "heat" looks to be one of those plug-in baseboards just tossed into the middle of the room, no pics of the exterior. Beautiful.
I hadn't even noticed the crocs until you pointed them out. It's one thing when someone wants to sell their booger-covered copy of Mario + Duck Hunt for $400, but when someone shares their one-of-a-kind creation with the world, it's really something else.
Sarge I've seen these before, they're often done for kids' birthday parties. For that set they're pretty cool.
Does this sort of thing even make sense in 2023? I remember once in the 90's my mom took me to this place that was more or less a daycare with a bunch of Super Nintendos hooked up to TVs. Parents would drop off their kids and the staff would supervise while the younguns played Mario World. But that was far back enough in the past that barely anyone had cell phones or PCs, and arcades still made sense.
If the listing was for a rental bouncy castle or a petting zoo, I could understand wanting to rent that without owning it outright. I'd even understand if the trailer had VR headsets inside it. But a trailer with a couple of PS4s and LCD TVs inside doesn't make sense to me. It's easy to own those if you want to.
I also feel like PS4 is more tied to your individual account than Super Nintendo. SNES had a lot of "arcade in your house" games you could just turn on and play a few rounds. But PS4 has all your trophies, online friends lists, and digital installations tied to it.
