Mahjong Fantasia (the series) has gorgeous aesthetics. Really squeezing everything out of the PC-98. I'm not familiar with Mahjong Quest, but Mahjong Taisen and Majaventure (both Famicom) look to be the most accessible mahjong RPGs. They even have walkthroughs on GameFAQs.

Usually I don't comment on these things but honestly a great cover. That's literally the Simple series so Ex's whole Simple Man thing is spot on. Also, I wonder if these are the same fictional idol characters D3 made up for the Simple 2000 games? I remember from my deep dive in that series that some of them appeared in a bunch of games. Which is kind of funny since they're really as generic as possible.

Thank you toei for pointing out the "Simple" part on the cover... I didn't notice it.
It's a steamy cover but I think it's kind of legit cool too haha. Looks like a smiley face.

Yeah it's weirdly aesthetically pleasing art. I gotta take a deep dive into the "Simple" line myself. Looks like it all began with mahjong, actually... Had no idea there were Simple Dreamcast games either. The first one is a (ported) visual novel.

Didn't know about the Dreamcast Simple series, but apparently there's only 4 of them (compared to over 100 on the PS2).

There's a lot to look at, huh?
Also, didn't realize "SuperLite" was its own thing too. Always lumped those in with "Simple."

The Simple series is legion across multiple platforms. I've beaten quite a few of the games. Some via their official western localizations (tended to happen more in Europe) and others in their Japanese form. I'd like to see more of the Simple games get fan translations, but seeing as there's none on Famicom probably not happening.
