I'd be disappointed with no Rondo myself. I think it's overrated, yes, but it's still a good game, and probably the best platformer on the system. That probably says something about the state of platformers for the system.
While I'm dreaming (after all, Square Enix has localized Romancing SaGa 3 and SD3), they could put some translated RPGs on there. You know, the genre they actually have some good stuff for.

I'd much rather have an English version of any of the untranslated Turbo CD RPGs over Rondo of Blood. I agree, mainly because I'm not a big Rondo fan.

What about nachos? We get nachos, right?
I'm actually surprised by this from Konami, to be honest. I hope they've got M2 on the job, since they did a good job for them with the Castlevania collection, and I'm sure the Contra one will be good, too. And even free PC emulation has gotten much, much better on the PC Engine front. Mednafen/Beetle FAST is what RetroArch uses, and it seems really solid from what I've played on it.

Anyone see Modern Vintage Gamer's look at the Polymega? While pricey, I think for retro-heads that don't have a decent PC or want to fiddle with standalone emulators, it might be a pretty good solution. Apparently they even got Steve Snake to work on updating Kega Fusion solely for the device. And while I was skeptical about the Saturn emulation, they're apparently using Mednafen, and the machine has enough beef to make it work right. I don't think it's a product for me, but I'm still fascinated that they've pushed forward with it, and that the system seems to be more thoughtfully designed than Hyperkin's Retron 5. Especially since it looks like they've complied with the legal hoops for the emulators they're using.

Yeah I'm gonna be getting one of those. Eventually. I love using the RetroFreak for carts, the Polymega can be my disc system.

The Polymega seems to be shaping up well but I'm not into the cost.
