Wow, this is cool (and pricier than I'd like, but still cool). I used to manage my old save games with a DexDrive - I actually still have it in a drawer, and it does still work (at least the last time I tested a few years ago). Needs a serial port, though!

That is cool. Could have really used that 20 years ago (with a different flashcard obviously).

I'm sure the real attraction is for folks using ODEs now. My understanding is that it can work with them, basically creating a virtual memory card for any game you load up automatically. If I ever end up getting one for the PSX, this will merit some serious consideration.

That sounds accurate to me as well. Flash games and flash saves, best of both worlds.

I know that a hacked Gamecube already does this if you're running Nintendont. You can still use a real MC (I do), but you can also opt to have it create a virtual memory card for each game. Actually, pretty much like the PSP does with PS1 games.

Wow that is tempting. Although my regular MC server well, except the save time is annoying for some games.

Sarge, thanks, pre-ordered as well. I've been waiting for something like this for my 21-pin Saturn.

paulofthewest : Glad you were able to get one! I came so close to not ordering (despite my stated intentions a while back), but figure, hey, the price isn't that bad, and the ease of use will inspire me to use my Saturn more. I'll probably be using my backup system in the closet, which is still stock - there's no need to use a mod board with the Fenrir. I will have to swap over my Action Replay 4M Plus for those RAM cart games, though.

Sarge You too! The biggest thing that stops me from playing my PS1 and Saturn is the disc system. I hated it when it came out (I stayed N64 for a long time) and it still annoys me today (load times, skips, disc scratches...). This will completely solve those problems. Ya, *really* looking forward to this, but it says June--so time to fire and forget! Also, thanks about the 4MB tidbit vs Action Replay. I checked, mine is just 4MB cart, so I'm good to go.
