Well, for better or worse, I pre-ordered Shantae and the Seven Sirens from LRG. I've seen mixed but mostly positive reviews, and I typically enjoy them. It's also not that much more expensive than the digital version (shipped and all, just over $40 compared to $30 + tax on the eShop).

Bought The Messenger, Katana Zero and some other game I've already forgotten on Steam as they were all on sale. I think The Messenger is 50% off. Another part of the sale was a 6$ rebate if you spent a certain amount (I think 35$), so since I was at almost exactly 30, I threw in another 5$ game I ended up getting for free: Way of the Samurai 3. I've been meaning to try getting into that series forever.

I'd be surprised if you didn't enjoy The Messenger. The movement options are just so much fun.

I'd be surprised if you didn't enjoy The Messenger. I wouldn't. But it's interesting to see toei buying modern games.

Well, I think it has less of the issues of Ninja Gaiden, despite being inspired by it in a lot of ways. It has fast, fun movement tech, and a lot more checkpointing than Ninja Gaiden's outright hateful Level 6.

Yo... can you guys believe the Curse of the Moon sequel is dropping July 10th?
I think I'll be in neo-retro heaven soon when the mood clicks. The Messenger, Streets of Rage 4, and Curse of the Moon 2 sounds like a nice combo. At the very least I want to check these all out this year sometime.

Seriously, I was coming here to post just that. Two weeks. Yeah, I'll be buying that pretty much immediately. I'd also love to see a double-pack physical release down the line.

I bought a bunch of games on Steam for the first time in a while:
Omega Strike A Hole New World Rabi-Ribi Momodora III Shipwreck Adventures of Pip Disney Afternoon Collection Double Dragon IV The Vagrant Catmaze
Cost me slightly more than $26. Not too bad.

Not too bad. I bought DDIV a few weeks back, too, despite the bad reviews. I figured it's Double Dragon, how bad can it really be? My first impression was extremely negative, though.
