The proportions are hilariously off (the character would look way bigger in a PS1 game), as are the animations, but it looks pretty accurate when it's not moving. I'd play a legit PS1 Elden Ring. I mean, I'd play Elden Ring too, most likely.

My getting into King's Field has henceforth changed the course of history.
Roguelike too? That could actually be awesome for this.
I was honestly thinking while playing them, they are rather simple in structure and concept. I have to imagine game design tools have come a long way since the mid 2000's when I took two years in Maya studios. It really does seem like something one person could maybe work on for a bit... not implying anything or making any promises, but yeah. A blocky retro styled dungeon crawler seems like it could be a very cool and rewarding project. Difficulty balancing and good design around sequence breaking/Metroidvania-esque elements is probably the really tricky part.

Seems like an approximation of Front Mission. Random thought in that regard, there are two PS2 mech SRPGs I've not played yet: Both of those have always looked intriguing from a distance. They're in my "someday" pile.
