Yep, it's a thread for modern game music that you dig. I'm gonna start out with one I played last year, and that's The Messenger. This game has fantastic music.
And for comparison, the 16-bit version.

Love The Messenger OST, looking forward to playing it sometime. Some of my favorites in the last few years...
(all the Souls OST's, and Sekiro's was incredible)
(all the Xenoblade's)
And the GOD. This is just normal BGM in Nier Automata. I love an aggressive composer and style that isn't afraid to steal the show. Probably my favorite newer game next to Demon's Souls.
Japan's still got it.

Thanks to this thread, I can now post Trauma Team tracks:
Damn I loved that game and its mellow electronica jazzy OST. If you own a Wii and enjoy crazy Japanese action adventure, do not skip out on Trauma Team! Easily the MOST underrated Wii release of all time.

Okay, I was expecting the Switch version of Tal Tal Heights to suck, but... it's okay? Good, even? Nice job, Ninty.

Can't emphasis enough how much Ion Fury reminded me of Streets of Rage, of all things! The dark urban city settings and neon lights...
... and the music!
This one was different, much moodier and one of my favorites.
Um yeah the whole OST rules.
