The second one for BMZ2 in particular is right up my alley, although both capture that Sunsoft bass really well. I do wonder if they actually used the NES soundchip, or if they relied on samples instead. Either way, excellent stuff.

They probably carried over some SFX at least, which I highly appreciate.

Yeah, that bassline is pure Sunsoft. There's no mistaking it anywhere.

Have I ever posted any Double Dragon Neon tracks? Some of those are sublime. Many are remixes of previous tunes (like the amped up boss music in the first tune here), but there are a few cool original tracks as well, including the hilarious final credits song. Which is sung by the Skeletor-like boss as he's free-falling to the ground. The game even awards you a cheevo/trophy as he sings "here's a medal for your victory", which is just perfect. Y'all, this is not a serious game.

Uh, this remix might inspire someone to play Ace Combat 7. Daaaaaaang.

I know that song well and haven't even played any of this series. That composer rocks. Hope he returns for some FF7R-2 tracks too!

Tony Dickinson (i.e. Prince uf Darkness) is a fantastic guitarist. I mean, he plays with The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. You can tell that the group that arranged this decided to bring it this month.
Also, that vocalist is legit (Val Nuccio, apparently).
