I remember an old arcade game (Namcot) similar to Ka-Ge-Ki, I played it during summer vacations!

Well, look what I found.
Ashita no Joe is one of the most legendary and influential manga and anime of all time, but in terms of video games, it's only amounted to a few half-assed boxing games (probably because the original anime ran back in 1970). This is the ugliest, though. Awful GBA music too.

The character models don't look all that bad to me, but the hit detection looks horrendously nonsensical. The perspective seems messed up too, like someone cropped out 30% of the screen around the ring and characters.

You can clearly see that the hardware isn't enough to run them, so they're downgraded in some weird way (look at the pants of the guy on the right). And yeah, their heads are almost touching yet most of their punches miss somehow lol. Speaking of Game.Com, all the ugliest games must be on it. I'm guessing few if any of us have ever played any of them, though.

It doesn't look good, yeah. It almost has a sort of cheap, pre-rendered look that isn't endearing.
