Yeah, they tried, and it just didn't feel all that good. If they were going to do it, R&C would have been a more ideal implementation.

So what I'm gathering is next month would be the right time for me to dust off my three Sly Cooper Ps2 games that I've been meaning to play.

I forget what chema's theme was. Are we not locking them in until the month hits? Which is probably ideal not too, so there's some flexibility and all. But yeah chibby I'll say as someone that missed out on all the PS2 platformers and played them on the PS3 with the remaster collections, Sly 1 was really impressive to me and holds up. I enjoyed 2 a fair bit as well but not quite as much. Sly 1 felt more like an N64/PSX platformer done to perfection, in ways. I fell off Sly 3 though, it had a lot of character swapping and extra fluff, it was starting to do too much without excelling at anything. But maybe you'll dig it.

My topic is going to be "Franchise offshoots / Gaiden games," but I'm open to suggestions. That topic sounds good to me. Simply PM me the official name of your topic, and the way you want your opening post to look, including any graphics. I'll then create the thread to your specifications when the time comes. (I'll create the next month's CR thread a day or two before that month actually starts.) This is the way we can handle thread creation this year for our curator months.

lurkei May is your month. We haven't seen you post in a while, it looks like your last login was on the 9th of this month. If you still plan to provide May's theme, just PM me what you want the theme to be and how the thread is written up. However if lurkei is MIA, we other members will need to come up with a theme we can all enjoy for May.

ExHi, sorry for not getting around to you sooner. I'd like to opt out of the month if that's okay.
