I really enjoyed Zombie Revenge, but I did beat it co-op, not single player.

What’s Shenmue is a demo for Shenmue, it was published by SEGA on August 5th, 1999 for the SEGA Dreamcast. Originally this demo was Japan-only, but since then has been fan translated into multiple languages, including English.
This demo was a special premier DC disc in Japan, given to those who pre-ordered Shenmue, additionally another edition of the disc was given away via Famitsu, the Japanese gaming magazine. (The only difference between the two, is that the Famitsu version has an orange cover, as opposed to a blue cover.) Due to a delay in releasing Shenmue in Japan, anyone who pre-ordered the game was given this demo on the date the actual game was intended to be released on. The gameplay itself works like a demo of Shenmue, featuring bits of Dobuita, the town in Yokosuka, although not all of the town is accessible. The disc also includes four of the movies included on the Passport disc of the original Shenmue that explain tutorial aspects of the game.
You play as Ryo Hazuki, looking for Mr. Hidekazu Yukawa, who was the Senior Managing Director of SEGA during the Dreamcast era. Ryo was given this task by a friend. Playing as Ryo, he asks people around Dobuita such as Tom Johnson and Nozomi Harasaki, if they've seenany sailors Yukawa-san. Ryo also encounters Enoki (a bad guy) and has a QTE battle with him and his accomplice. Ryo eventually finds Yukawa (via detective work) and chases him. They eventually end up at You Arcade. Ryo saves Yukawa from an attacker that wanted a "disk" (the Shenmue gold master). After that, Ryo and Yukawa talk for a bit, then Yukawa wakes up and realizes this was all a dream. His desk is surrounded with Dreamcast boxes. He looks up to see a poster of Shenmue on the wall, and then swears to sell the Dreamcast console heroically.

This demo is really cool. Not only does it portray the actual gameplay systems of Shenmue well, it also acts as a self-contained gaiden story. Basically something we'd call "DLC" today. It had been a decade since I last wandered about in Ryo's world, so seeing familiar faces and sights was a blast from the past. It made me remember how much I enjoyed the conversation system, and how much I hated the QTE system. Also Shenmue's graphics still look quite nice 20 years later, impressively enough. And the English fan translation was quite good. If you're a fan of Shenmue, it's totally worth playing through this little demo for a bit of humorous nostalgic fun.
