Yeah, it's pretty wild that you can simulate two simultaneously on there. I've got that core installed along with the Game Boy core that also does the same thing. Well, not that I had to do much, since the update-all script grabs all that stuff automatically.

The PSX core is already looking pretty boss, y'all.

That looks super nice. I remember seeing that announced a month or so ago. I also love that LTT covers this sort of stuff - you can tell Anthony is super knowledgeable and definitely gets the retro side of things.

The core is really, really close, although there are still a few lingering issues. I saw that one issue (sprite occlusion in Top Gear) has been fixed, but not in the master revision yet. I think Rendering Ranger R2 got broken in one of the updates, and that game is apparently very finicky, even on real hardware. It's apparently very tightly coded, which doesn't surprise me in the least. (There was some embedded system code I worked with that was literally so tightly timed that it broke with one of the compiler revisions.)
It's still likely better than SNES9x (and that's really good!), and the responsiveness is fantastic.

I'd believe anything programmed by Manfred Trenz would be incredibly tightly timed and finicky if not executed 100% exact to spec.

Well thanks to Sarge's generosity, I have joined the MiSTer master race. It'll be interesting to see how this platform performs and develops.
