Yeah, Neugier was a nice little snack. It's one of the games (maybe the first?) I played through when I got my SD2SNES.

War of the Dead (PCE version) / sold with a brief "apology letter" from the developers I've played that game and I believe it.  My copy. My Japanese is ass but here's the gist. 1. Talking to NPCs is of critical importance ("more important than EXP" is the claim). Mostly standard RPG advice. 2. Warning about gaining too much XP for protagonist Lila (or "Lira"); if it exceeds 9999 it rolls over. Warns not to grind too much early on. 3. Advises the player to stock up on medicine. Corrects an error in the instructions that says the player can hold 15; it's actually 14. 4. Sorry about the shitty ass passwords. 5. What can I do if I get stuck? Figure it out. Refer to the manual (there are more generalized tips in there). |

if it exceeds 9999 it rolls over Imagine being some Japanese high schooler back in the day, grinding and grinding to get to max level. Than you get there and it flips back to level 1. Did some of the Castlevania 2 localization team design this game?  |
