Hmm, I think I just might play FF7 again this way. Looks pretty good!

Well this is pretty neat. FastROM hacks for SNES games.
EDIT: Just gave it a shot. Very impressive! The mudmen in Stage 3 don't even really slow anything down, even when whipping two at once, and the rotating room only shows the barest hint of slowdown at moments when you whip a skeleton. I can't wait to see what else might happen with these hacks.

The UnWorked Lunar: Eternal Blue (Sega CD) hack has been updated with a bunch of fixes. This is one of those hacks that revert the gameplay changed made by Working Designs during localization of their various games.

Whoa, that's awesome! I'm definitely going to give that a try. Thanks for sharing!

I'm not going to defend lag in old 2D games, but sometimes I think removing it isn't for the best. I dare you guys to check out the "Gold" Saturn version of Thunder Force IV... and good luck.

Been meaning to do that for a long time.

RetroRGB just posted their weekly roundup video which included a new version of the SA-1 hack for Super Mario World. He cited that it makes the games HARDER in a few location because of the lack of slowdown, and there was a screenshot of the water level with the Torpedo Teds. That level can get nasty with the slowdown. Still, I've always been curious to see what that rotating room in CV4 would play like without the MASSIVE slowdown that it has.

Yeah, for a game like SCV4, the slowdown doesn't do anything to help the player, so getting rid of it is worthwhile. In shmups, a lot of them get stupid hard without it.

I half expected him to have the ornament hung from the tree with a tiny TV ornament showing games on demo mode.
