Ooh, good job getting FFCC for that price.

The first is worth about $1.75, fair deal there. The second? I don't know, never played it.
I'd like to post more in this thread, but the only games I tend to buy are new games. As in I buy 3DS, Vita, and PC games. The reason I'm not buying retro games, is because I've already bought all the games for older systems I want.* But it's still fun to see the great deals you're finding out there in the wild.
*With the exceptions of:
Aquanaut's Holiday: Hidden Memories (Korean-English Version PS3) <--Because I'm not paying $200 for one video game. I have the Japanese version though, which is in Japanese only unfortunately.
Steel Battalion (Xbox) <--Because I'm not paying ~$400 for one video game (and its insane controller).

Steel Battalion (Xbox) <--Because I'm not paying ~$400 for one video game (and its insane controller). A professor that I used to teach labs for actually had this! We gamer types were duly impressed. He also sold it later for a tidy profit.

What burns my ass about Steel Battalion is the game could have been playable with a regular controller, granted you'd have to do some finger gymnastics with the triggers altering the face button layouts, but it's do-able. Capcom chose not to make that an option though, because the profit margin was in the sale of the proprietary controller. Which they apparently produced all of about twenty units of.

True. Makes you wish there was a decent XBOX emulator out there; I'm sure all that stuff could get wrangled into a keyboard setup, or maybe even throw in a flight stick.

The original reason I got an XBOX was because Metal Wolf Chaos and Breakdown have never been ported to anything else and can't be emulated.
As for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, while I'll never turn down a Gamecube exclusive, I have memories of seeing this featured prominently in Nintendo Power around 2004 or so. It looked really cool to me, but back then my game budget was really limited, so I kept buying other games instead. I doubt I'll enjoy it today as much as teenage me would have, but I've always been curious to see what it's like.

I feel like I basically started this thread so that anayo consistency would convince me to get back on the thrifting horse. I went out yesterday with my partner, but it was mostly a wash. I did find SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom as well as The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie on PS2 for 3 bucks each, but they were so terribly scratched that I didn't risk it. What I did purchase was a game designed for people ages 5-9. This jewel: And you know what, I'm pretty sure I actually played it when I was around that age (Home Education at its finest) and I wanted it for nostalgia reasons, and it was 25 cents, so I feel pretty good about myself.

Aw man, I remember this game! Most of what I remember was that there's a pretty large emphasis on making correct change, but I'm going to boot it up in the next day or so and feel like a cool kid.
