IIRC there's one crazy complex puzzle towards the end of PE2. I remember feeling proud of myself after I figured it out on my own. No idea if it's actually that complicated or just my memories amping it up over the years. At any rate I appreciated PE2 having legit puzzles.

I ran into a [FULL MOON] one next or something, but it seemed like another optional one. It's cool that some are optional. This whole underground area is 2000% my aesthetic. I've been taking screenshots of like every single angle in every room.

Xeogred The Full Moon things lets you go back to a place you've been before, unlocking optional events and giving you access to weaponry. It's kind of side-quest. I'll be honest, IIRC I brute forced it by trying a bunch of numbers methodically because I had no idea what the hint was going on about.

Yeah, unless there's some in-game hints around this area, this one makes no sense at all. The last bit is even Aya just going "The rest is in Japanese I don't understand"... so it seems like maybe an implied hint their culture would understand easier? That's my guess.
I had a hunch that might be one to look up. I'm glad I did the side stuff in PE1, so I'll probably look that up then.

So, you can go through Terranigma the fast way, or the slow way. I've... done the slow way. Definitely trying to do everything possible, including all the town expansions, and hopefully even snag all the Magirocks (I've been incredibly close to snagging them all as I go, I think I might have missed a couple when I checked a guide). But I'm now up to the Starstone hunt, so I'm very much in the final push. Already have one from earlier in the game, and I know at a minimum where another one is right now. We'll see if all my memories come back for the rest - I suspect they will.

I'm not actually sure, but it would at least be about ten years ago. But I think a bit more.

Boy I wish I knew you could examine key items and normal items in PE2 hours ago... I figured something was up because they're sometimes (?) like they need to be looked at. But I thought I tried button combinations and stuff. Apparently you can hit Triangle to examine them... kind of crucial for some of these puzzles, like the computer password one.

These Neo Ark puzzles are insane...
The sliding puzzle thing that Japanese survival horror devs obsess over I'm thankfully good at by now. But this stepping stone puzzle is getting me. "To call upon the rain... Red, White, Yellow, Blue"...

Xeogred maybe that was the puzzle I was remembering. PE2 has above average puzzles for a Japanese action-adventure.
