Never heard of this, but the title "Mighty Guy" just screams Nichibutsu, and yeah, that's who made this. Seems to be their take on the Rambo Commando top-down run and gun formula. Probably not great. Apparently the main villain is a supercomputer named ZELDA.

We may be scraping the bottom of the Namco barrel, at least in terms of obscurity. Cosmo Gang: The Video was a Galaga style game with big, colorful, goofy character sprites. This seems to be some block dropping puzzle spin-off.

A worthy sequel to Contra. The NES versions are so much better though.

Yep. NES Contra and Super C stomp the arcade games into the ground.

Seemed to be a trend with Konami around that time, because Sunset Riders definitely plays better on the SNES too. I'd argue even Turtles in Time feels a little better and has much more satisfying sound effects for hits. Of course the arcade versions of both are more impressive visually.

The true sequel to Bubble Bobble and a good game in its own right. This was heavily ported/compiled in the past though, making this a somewhat redundant release.
