Tecmo shmup. I've never played this but have always been intrigued, especially since it apparently inspired SWIV / Firepower 2000.

Looks like this week's game is being withheld from the West. Can't make sense of it as it's Namco's hockey game Face Off. Maybe some weird licensing issue?

1981 Konami game I've never played. It was ported -- to the Tomy Tutor and Emerson Arcadia 2001.

Quick googling says it's very similar to Image Fight, it's very hard, and the Internet credits it to either Allumer or "Yang Cheng Electronic", which never released anything else. I don't know what's up with that. The staff does seem to belong to Allumer. It'd be nice if they released something beyond a standard shmup or an early '80s game next.

One of the older Archives games, 1980 release. I'm a fan of the Famicom sequel (Battle City) so I'm curious about this one.

Battle City on Famicom is a fun 2 player game, and the Construction mode was forward thinking at the time.

It's awesome. Would have been an incredible black label NES title had more games been localized way back when.
