For the record, I didn't post all the fourth gen games I've beaten in the past ten years. I just posted the lesser known, lesser played ones. Operation Logic Bomb (SNES) That one's in my to-play list, good to see you approved of it. Ranger X is another mecha game Xeogred needs to play. It's a Mega Drive/Genesis title, so maybe toei would like it too... maybe. I also recommend Alien Soldier as it's my second-favorite Treasure game (the first is Sin & Punishment: Star Successor). You've probably all played Alien Solder, but if you've not beaten it, you don't know how crazy cool it really gets.

I probably should sort out the more known from the lesser, haha. Might just do that now and spoiler-pop the rest.
EDIT: Okay, done!

Ranger X is definitely not for me. I hate those clunky mecha games.
I had picked out Operation Logic Bomb a while back too, maybe I'll play it.

toei : Ranger X is one that felt clunky at first until I got the control scheme down. Then it was pretty smooth. And it looks fantastic. One of the prettiest Genesis games I've ever played. Operation Logic Bomb doesn't take too long to finish - it's probably an hour and a half to two hours - but I like how it tells its story wordlessly, and the action is solid.

"Rushing Beat" you mean Rival Turf? That's one of the very worst beat-'em-ups on the SNES dude. Brawl Brothers is decent, Peace Keepers is alright. Beat all three.
Shin Nekketsu Kouha: Kunio-tachi no Banka - Obviously I've played that bro. Really good game. I recommend it. I like it a lot better than the other SNES Nekketsu (Shodai), it doesn't have the RPG side really but the fighting has that chunky Double Dragon/Combatribes feel and the storyline is better.
I've tried every beat-'em-up on every retro console, point blank, and finished most. If I've missed a old-school beat-'em-up, it's either a recent retro game or it was an obscure computer release.
Shiren the Wanderer: Mysterious Dungeon 2 - Finished it too of course.
Shiki Eiyuuden: Jinryuu Densetsu - I don't play Dynamic Designs translations because wildbill's work is horrible. Also, they seem to be saying the game is bad themselves, calling it "downright exasperating... at times" in their release. Considering they've picked a couple of really bad games and didn't say anything negative about them, that says a lot. They've also done good games, though, like FEDA.
There really aren't many SNES games I'd have any interest in that I haven't played, except a few fan translated RPGs from the last few years, and maybe The Firemen and Operation Logic Bomb. And I have absolutely, thoroughly exhausted the Genesis library, except a handful of games that are already on my list (and The Immortal, which I just added to my to-play list recently). The only recommendations that might work would be in genres I've always ignored - if there was a sport game with a cool story mode like Backstreet Billiards (not Battle Golfer Yui, I tried over and over and I suck too much at golf to get anywhere), or something weird but good. Same for the Game Gear.

I owned (still do) Peace Keepers as a kid, so I have a soft spot for that one. Lots of replay value with all the hidden paths and stuff. It's weird how the US version defaults with BGM off and is missing some tracks or something though. Nowadays when I revisit it, I don't get too far because every enemy even on the lower difficulties is an absolute sponge. That's beat em' ups 101, but it's just not balanced enough to stay interesting after awhile. Everything takes forever to kill.
The first two Rushing Beat games look alright at a glance, but yeah they feel awful.

Obviously I've played that bro I'll assume going forward you have played and/or beat every fourth gen RPG and beat 'em up that exists. In that case I agree with hitting up genres you play less often. I enjoyed Pop Breaker on GG:

I'll go ahead and talk about the next game I put some time into this morning. EVO The Search for Eden.
This is one I emulated probably about 20 some years ago and maybe have jumped into here and there since, but I wanted to finally see credits roll on this thing. Back in the day, this was a real weird hidden game to stumble upon. I'm not even sure if I played the official US rom or what, since I remember the translation being wonky or it was just too cryptic for me back then. The official localization isn't anything stellar either, so maybe it's just fuzzy memories and little intel about the game back then. I somehow scored a mint cartridge several years ago and know it's a rare one, so that's cool to have among my SNES collection. Of the many retro streamers and YouTubers I follow, this game comes up more often than most would expect. I think because it's such a humorously quirky game and a fun curiosity for most. And you see it time and time again, people check it out for the memes, but then actually stick around since it's not bad. I didn't realize until recently that it's only a few hours long, so that helped motivate me to knock it out myself.
Seems impossible to even classify what EVO is. I guess the closest thing is a side scrolling action RPG Lite. EVO is arguably not an amazing game by any means. But it's got personality and is such a time capsule to an era when even a big publisher like Enix would put out something so funky and experimental like this game. I've long thought it feels like something Quintet would have developed, they always loved putting their weird spin on Judeo Christian themes in their games, death and rebirth, etc, so here... it's literally evolution and the dawn of man. All with some weird God/Goddess figure that's helping you out as a guide for some reason.
Levels could be compared to the random encounter stages in Zelda II. They're always brief and never very complex at all. There's an overworld that connects the levels. Sometimes you go into one and there's a father triceratops looking for his son or something, or bugs/animals warn you about some mystical orbs, weird little stories here and there. But only the fittest survive and every enemy animal you defeat turns into food/exp, that you can save up to spend on various physical features to "evolve" them. Get sharper claws to do more damage, fins to swim or jump higher, armored/scaled skin to boost defense, etc. Eventually you complete a certain timeline and evolve to a completely new era.
The music can go from below average... to excellent in a blink. It's hilarious that being an Enix game, I wonder if it had some shared samples or a sound driver/engine that was used in some of the Dragon Quest games. This wouldn't be out of place in an SNES DQ:
Anyways, EVO is a goofy game but I like it in ways. I think I got about 40% through it this morning so I'll keep chugging away to knock it hopefully.

XeogredNice beat. I quite enjoyed E.V.O.: Search for Eden when I beat it back in 2005. I do recall the final boss (giant amoeba thing) is either super easy or super hard, depending on your protagonist's final evolved form. My protagonist ended up being a bipedal triceratops thing, but I understand if you evolve a hominid it's the most powerful form. Definitely a unique game and I too wish developers would do innovative stuff like this more often. Also, just in case you didn't know, E.V.O. is a sequel to this: www.romhacking.net/games/2617/
