I'm still dealing with some post vacation whiplash with life and this nose thing right now haha, things are a little weird. I want to get back to Tomb Raider IV before starting up anything 6th gen, but who knows. I'm ready for this weekend with no real plans finally. I honestly kind of really want to play Armored Core 3: Silent Line (expansion) even on top of AC6 right now, since I know the old games are a different flavor. I actually feel like I'm salivating for another short "mission" based game like AC6 and the franchise itself. So easy to jump in and out.
But don't worry Ex, PN03 is high priority too.

PN03 is high priority too. On average it only takes 3 hours to beat. Which means you'll beat it in an hour and a half. Eternal Ring would probably take you 8 hours.

My old save states for Eternal Ring look like they're time stamped right after I beat Shadow Tower Abyss. I'm still not convinced I'll care for it much with the lazier level design that felt copy/pasted from the Timesplitters level editor. And the ending looks so painfully bad, I couldn't help but look it up with how atrocious the voice acting is. But who knows, maybe I'll like it now after all the KF's... but I think I'll just wish I was playing another legit KF.

I'm not saying Eternal Ring is an amazing game. I'd give it a 7/10. But not every game has to be amazing to be worth finishing. In this case the point of you beating Eternal Ring is completing your journey. The journey being you beating every real time first person dungeon crawler that FromSoftware has released. Or at least the ones available in English officially and unofficially. If you did so, you'd be in elite and I daresay rare company.

Yeah. I'll probably just start over because I can't figure out how far I got into it time wise. Too OCD about that nowadays...
It's probably more fun than Shadow Tower. I kind of wish we got a second Shadow Tower in between the original and Abyss. The first had a lot of great concepts and design, it was just the chunkiest of them all to play. And then STA could almost be a different IP. Still had to micromanage your equipment a bunch, but it was pretty different overall. I definitely liked STA the most between the two but a more refined ST would have been cool...
Ah well, it's still funny I went in thinking I'd like the ST games the most, but KF reigned supreme by far.

The good news there is I'd say Eternal Ring is closer to KF than ST.

That classic From music too...
This one below sounds like the last area I remember playing:
Yeah now I need to play Eternal Ring.
I need it and ALL ARMORED CORE'S in my veins now. Everything but those adventure games... cause I'm too high on Mega Man.

Ugh, almost two hours put into Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure, and the cart didn't save... Dang it, EverDrive, you had one job!

Ouch. On the bright side I guess you've got a techie thing to fix now.

Looks like it's a problem with the Pocket and EEPROM saves, KRIKzz fixed it in a firmware update that of course I didn't have. I can get back where I was pretty fast, I think. It's been a very enjoyable game so far.
EDIT: Oh, an observation - the AGS-101 is the gold standard when it comes to original GBA hardware displays, but maaaaaaan the Analogue Pocket looks so much better in motion. It was actually a bit jarring to go back to the hardware after spending that time on the Pocket with the original GBA-style screen filter.
