Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Contra Anniversary Collection are on sale for $9.99 on Switch and probably PS4. Steam as well. At that price, I'll bite just to have legit versions of Belmont's Revenge and Kid Dracula FC.

Dang, guess those were digital only collections. Still kind of tempting to have them on the Switch though.

That's why I bit. Cheap enough, and I can always play on the real systems, too. I didn't get the Contra set because I have all those.
EDIT: Try number two on Nintendo Power Vol. 1. Cheaper than the last one, even. Fingers crossed. I missed on Vol. 2, but it's only a matter of time.

The Genesis Mini seems to be on a sale right now, through Best Buy on ebay? I didn't know retail stores had online stores via ebay.
I'll probably grab one for my nephew.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3D (PC I enjoyed this one tremendously back in ye olde days. One of the best arcade flight sims I've played through. Nice find. I didn't know retail stores had online stores via ebay. I've seen this fairly often in recent years. I've bought a few Vita games from Best Buy that way for example. At least in that regard you know you're dealing with a more responsible seller.

Yeah, several places are selling them on special. I hope it's selling at least decently well. I feel like Sega might have poisoned the well a little too much with their awful AtGames systems, though. Interestingly, it's basically running the same chipset as the NES/SNES Classic. Some small implementation-level details, but apparently they had the Genesis core running on an SNES Classic a while back. I still see a lot of mixed information on the sound lag, though.

Thankfully I don't think my 7 year old nephew will worry about the sound lag. I'm glad I hit up Target this morning, they had the $50 tag too so I just grabbed it there.
