My sister never got a hold of Animal Crossing, however Mrs. Chibby made him hand over his smartphone so she could play the mobile version. Unfortunately, I own the Gamecube Animal Crossing but she's never once tried to play it. Based on what little I heard her say about the mobile game, it involves a lot of fishing...

I've never cared much for the series. I do own a couple of them, though. Mainly because I apparently have problems. (And they were cheap.)

Phantasy Star Online and Skies of Arcadia are solid 10/10's So about how long does it take to finish the single player campaign stuff of PSO Episode 1 & 2? HLTB is saying 61½ hours to do that, but the time is red, meaning it's questionable.

I would call that inaccurate.
First time through? Normal difficulty? 35 hours for both Episodes.
Note that the Episodes are structured a lot differently. Episode I is very grindy. You have to complete the quests to gain XP and money before you can even begin taking on area bosses.
Episode II can be rolled right through. In fact, unless you have the Plus version, there won't even be any offline quests at all.
So you're looking at like 25 hours in Episode I and 10 in Episode II. Give or take, I'm just ballparking here.

I'm going to give it a shot this year Bone. I want to beat my GameCube copies of Phantasy Star Online, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Mainly so I can sell them while they're still worth anything. But also because they are likely all highly decent experiences.

Word. I already mentioned it, but I'd highly recommend playing as a ranger. It arguably breaks the game (in favor of the player) but I find the other classes' combat skills to be so lackluster. Hunters slowly lob their swords around and forces rely on magic which is difficult to aim. I like "RAmarl" as she is the cutest. phantasystar.wikia.com/wiki/RAmarl

You could also mod your Wii, rip them to USB, and sell them if you're desperate to unload them. But that's a great way to play even if you keep 'em.

@bone - I'll go with Ranger most likely, definitely playin' as a gurl tho. Sarge - I do need to learn how to do the USB play thing, agreed. But I think I'll play those on my fo' real GameCube though. There's not a whole lot of GameCube games left in my collection. I think the little purple lunchbox deserves the last bit of love it can get.

A side note on the subject of PSO, I kept forgetting that it actually got an Xbox release as well. I was thinking of getting that sometime soon for an excuse to replay some of it and have a second copy on another system, but then read that you flat out can't play it at all as it requires XBL, which is not available for the original Xbox anymore. So everyone be weary, haha. Just a bunch of worthless PSO Xbox paperweights out there now. Guess it states it on the cover, heh. This cover in general cracks me up. X!
