Kinda crazy we're getting the original after all these years. I know there's a fan translation, but I love seeing these older games get re-releases.
The only thing that would be cooler would be that cartridge actually working on the system. I'd probably spring for that.

If the final result is a legitimate ROM being emulated, someone will extract that ROM. Then it's just a matter of time before a legitimately working aftermarket cartridge shows up. Much to Nintendo's chagrin, no doubt.

I just learned about the original Baroque (it is called Original Complete edition) getting a Switch port. I hope it gets an English translation. While googling it also turns out there is a website that has translated dialogue and audio and numerous other things from the Saturn game, which is cool.

I just learned about the original Baroque (it is called Original Complete edition) getting a Switch port. I assume this means the OG first person Saturn version? I beat the third person PS2 version of Baroque years ago. I thought it was a fairly decent, very surreal experience.

Yeah the Saturn version (well, maybe it will be based on the PS1 port but I can't find much info about it).

Yep, I actually have the Wii version. Not complete, sadly, but I have it! Also, apparently it's on iOS? Weird. Probably won't get it (or maybe we will), but also a Nintendo Switch port.

Wow! Not everyday you see SaGa getting that kind of treatment.
Reminds me that I still need to give Romancing SaGa 2 or 3 a shot sometime with those new versions.
