those $60 price points are less than appealing to me right now with so much else to play In my entirely personal opinion, very few video games are worth $60. Let alone the upcoming $70 standard. But I will readily admit to being a cheap-ass gamer. My view is biased as such.

I forgot to set my over-under on how many games would be complete from the GameStop orders. I was going to put it at 50/50. Off to a pretty good start, though: 4/5 in the first shipment complete. That would be GALAK-Z: The Void and Skulls of the Shogun, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters, Code Vein, and Tokyo Xanadu eX Plus. Not complete: Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception. Bummer. Still, considering I got it for $5... I can live with that. I might consider printing out cover art for it.

I missed that you got Anime Souls Code Vein. Been curious about that one.

I went super-duper anime with this order, honestly. I typically avoid those games these days, but at the prices I was getting them at, I'm willing to take a shot. Should be interesting on that one, being a Souls-like.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters I thought you'd already bought this via Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak Special Gigs World Tour?

Ex: Yeah, I just shortened it, ha. That's quite the title... Anyway, I gave a little time to Utawarerumono (I've actually learned to spell that without looking, shocking!) and it seems pretty solid. I'd read that Sting was involved in crafting the SRPG side of things (confirmed during boot), and I like a lot of their output. Riviera is one of my absolute favorite RPGs.

Ex: Yeah, I just shortened it, ha. That's quite the title... I asked because the original game was called that. It's had two re-releases with added content, which also lengthened the title twice.

Next batch came in today, and while not quite as good as yesterday, still not awful. 4/7 complete. Tearaway, Raging Loop, Dead Cells, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth complete, with Raging Loop even coming in the cardboard box with the artbook. Neato! Generic cases for Demon Gaze (handheld, no surprise), Zero Time Dilemma, and The Nonary Games.

I'm just glad to see you getting some modern Japanese goodness. I'd really be interested in your opinions of 999 and its sequels.

Pretty good luck with the next set: Dark Rose Valkyrie, DoA5: Last Round, and Metal Max Xeno all complete.
So I just found out there's a "Reborn" version of MMX... but initial impressions at RPGamer say it's actually worse than the original version. Woof.
