Wow, I wonder what Sony's defense is. Digital codes cost too much? It does seem like a money grab.

I agree the PlayStation brand's glory days are behind it now. PS4 is my final give a damn, but there's issues I have with PS4 as a platform too. (Hardware, infrastructure, and censorship issues.) I still love what the Vita accomplished, and PS3 was pretty good although Xbox 360 stole a lot of its thunder. PS1/PS2/PSP are all top-tier gaming as far as I'm concerned, and remain so to this day. I think the PS5 is interesting from a technical standpoint, but Sony as a modern company is just awful stuff. They are misguided to say the least, caring way too much what the western world thinks and supposedly wants. I guess Sony has ceded Japan to Nintendo at this point. I'm usually a Nintendo fanboy but I kinda liked PSP more than Nintendo DS.

anayoFor me the DS & PSP are an even tie. The DS provided more innovative titles, the PSP provided console quality experiences on a handheld. I love 'em both, still play both!

Well, at least the GOG versions are DRM-free, but if you want to have Ultima Underworld or Syndicate, you better buy 'em now, because they're getting pulled from the store. Probably going to end up as Origin exclusives.

I got em'. I'm assuming purchased GOG titles stay tied to your account even when they get pulled? That's the case with Steam.
Maybe they're going to Steam now too though, cause EA's putting most of their stuff on there now. Seems like Origin was nothing but a big pie in their face in the long run.

Yeah, they'll still be there for download. I don't really care for getting Syndicate, but I've had UU for a while now. (I've even got a disc copy of that, and honestly, I think I have Syndicate somewhere as well.)
