Nope, lol. I sunk 2 continues on this run (Normal) so yeah...
I assume "Mania" is the highest difficulty, but there's also "Special". Hmmm...
The Genesis Batman Returns looks pretty cool and strange. I guess it looks more like a direct follow up to the first Sunsoft Batman game on that console. I want to check those out and the NES Batman Returns again.

Nah, it's a shoddy Western platformer by Malibu Interactive, makers of various crappy licensed games like Cliffhanger and the 3 Ninjas games.

All comments about it mention how frustrating it is, heh. I dig the music at least:

Yeah, Batman Returns falls much more into the Final Fight camp. Smashing enemies against walls (or grabbing two goons and head-smashing them) is one of the cooler things to see in a brawler of this era. Speaking of Turtles in Time... is it weird that in some ways, I actually like Hyperstone Heist slightly more? The SNES game is probably more expansive, but the Genesis game just feels so zippy and responsive. Plus, I've gotten the rhythm on shoulder smash/thrash move, so I'm basically body-slamming enemies throughout the entire game. It's nuts, honestly. The Genesis version got an enhanced port to Sega CD as well. It adds in 3D Batmobile sequences.

Oh, the Sega CD version must be the one with the Spencer Nilsen OST.
Man, Batman Returns has to be up there for a movie that has the most varied releases across so many platforms.

Nicole Kidman was the best Catwoman, but someone should play this: Or not...

Nooooooooo!!! Seriously, whoever dreamed up that costume should be fired, if they weren't already. Awful.
(I'm pretty partial to Catwoman from the Adam West series.)

You know who also should be fired? The dufus who thought Batman Returns (NES) should only give you one life. Because that's what everyone loves in a beat em' up where the CPU naturally nails you throughout. Yeah, good one dufus...
Sure you get these little "Boxes" of health, like an extra life. But I only got one in 30 minutes of playing. Dying puts you back a previous level/area and I already hit a boss rush of sorts in the middle where I rage quit.
Seems like a fine game and it's cool how Batman has a lot more moves than say, the Turtles. But some idiot had to ruin this game with the 1 life idea.

The Game Gear and Master System Batman Returns are somewhat interesting too. You might want to check those out. For me the Catwoman is Michelle Pfeiffer, mostly because I grew up watching Batman Returns.

I tried playing through the SMS version earlier this year, and kept getting my head handed to me. It's got some nice grappling hook action, though. I wonder if the Game Gear version is any easier?
