the level grind is just flat out boring now Even in the '90s I just couldn't get into D1 or D2. I really liked the dark aesthetic, the graphics were solid at the time. But the gameplay was simply not gratifying for me personally. I understand how the loot drops were addictive for people though, especially D2 with its baddies bursting like pinatas of treasures. Very great stuff. Man if you're not played through House of the Dead: OVERKILL yet, it's a wild ride. Definitely not a game to let kids anywhere near though.

Overkill looks great, I'll procure. There was a period of time when I played Wii light gun shooters fervently. I've played just about everything on the system in that genre. These are my top 5 recommendations if you're on a kick: Dead Space: Extraction Ghost Squad Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
The House of the Dead: Overkill
DS:E is probably my top pick overall. It's so much better than the original Dead Space game.

anayo is definitely great at old DOS RTS games. I don't know if I'm that great at RTSes. It might just be that I really, really like old school Blizzard games. XD
