I saw a few folks talking about this on Twitter. Looks crazy impressive.

ROMhackers "savok" and "PPI_Akiko" have released a massive mod for Streets or Rage 2 that changes the game into a TMNT beat 'em up:

Still no ETA on this project... I think I've been following it for like a decade now?
I never watch their full clips and updates. But at this point I think I'm more worried about this thing just being way too big and bloated. Some of the Zero/ZX games experimenting with lite Metroidvania elements didn't exactly enhance them to me. Give me another 8 Robot Masters/Levels, and a big Wily/Sigma tower to ascend and I'd be happy enough lol.
Who knows. Still looks freaking cool.

I still wonder how that Genesis Mega Man X port is going.

Didn't know AM2R was still getting worked on from other fans. I think I played the v1.1 release, it's up to v1.5 now.
I've already played through it twice and will continue to revisit this one. It truly is just like a lost third GBA game.

Note to self, put AM2R on the 2023 beat list.

Note to self, put AM2R on the 2023 beat list. "Will he ever play this" was in my head when I posted this... lol. You got Dread too. I envy that!
I like all versions of Metroid II now, but AM2R is the King. Trust me, once you have it installed and booted up, controller in hand, you'll think you're emulating an official GBA Metroid game.

AM2R really is great. I like both remakes, though - Samus Returns takes a different but also excellent tack.
