I only own it on the SG-1000. Didn't realize how big/long it was. That's the version I started with, because SEGA developed that one. It is the nicest looking/sounding version of H.E.R.O. in my view. Even though in that version the protagonist uses a jetpack not a helipack, so it should be called J.E.R.O. I got fairly far in it, but got stuck at a point involving ice stalactites. This is the section: But after watching that video just now, I discover you can destroy barriers with your laser. I didn't know that, I thought you had to use dynamite to do it. Nice to know after the fact. Anyway using dynamite to do so wasn't working, so I ended up giving up on it, and going to the Atari 2600 version instead, which doesn't have those stalactites. I do think it's cool how in the SG-1000 version, instead of boating on a yellow block on water, you boat on the back of a turtle: This is a cool game no matter which version you play, but it's dang tough. And there's quite a few versions too: 1984 (Atari 2600) 1984 (MSX) 1984 (Apple II) 1984 (Commodore 64) 1984 (ColecoVision) 1984 (Atari 8-bit) 1984 (Atari 5200) 1984 (ZX Spectrum) 1985 (SG-1000) 2010 (Windows) 2010 (Xbox 360)
