I dreamed that I had a Sega Saturn mini console. It was some kind of emulation SOC like the recent NES Classic system. Mine was similarly diminutive, like a shrunk down version of the Saturn we all know and love, but it was also made of transparent plastic, revealing its insides. In the dream, I wondered if anyone had successfully hacked it because I wanted to fill it with more Saturn games aside from the deafult ones.

I would definitely buy a Saturn Mini, if it were possible to put and play your own ISOs on it.

Man, Saturn Mini would be awesome. Maybe in ten years...

I dreamed that my friend was telling me about the upcoming 2D Sonic 5. He was saying it looked interesting because it was being made by Yuji Naka's son, which piqued my interested. It made sense to me that making Sonic games should be a family business.

We're now four years removed from Sonic Mania. Shame on Sega for not following that one up.

I don't know if he even has a son. Guess it was a DREAM. Is it possible to cast a spell in your sleep? Because if so, and you've made this to be true, it'd be a DREAMCAST!

I dreamed my Mom and I were in a very rural area. It was quiet and small, with more woods and nature than manmade buildings or people. We stopped the car at a thrift store. This place was not originally a thrift store, it used to be something else - maybe a public library or a civic center. It had the drab, "standard issue" look of a government building along with a outdated architectural style. In the store there was a cardboard box of video games. I meant to sort through all of them but only looked at one. It was titled "JURASSIC PARK: FEAR" and had a bombastic helicopter on the cover. The box to this game was bizarre, having the same shape and size as a PSP game box, but made out of the same material as a CD jewel case. Whatever hardware it was for, I didn't feel much of a desire to buy it. It gave me that same "meh" feeling as though I had found a Nokia N-Gage game.

In my dream last night I was at a yard sale run by a middle aged guy with a salt and pepper mustache. On one of his tables I found a Sega CDX. It came with no cables, controllers, or games. He had written a price tag on the bottom of the unit, but it was illegible. I showed it to him asking what it said and he told me it cost $83. I couldn't make up my mind if that was worth it or not so I hovered around pretending to look at other stuff while I pondered whether I ought to buy it.
Now that I'm awake I'm checking eBay and it appears a Sega CDX is worth about $200, with or without any cables. Guess I should have bit!
