Thanks for the info dudes, I'll probably check out that Genesis entry as my next one in the series. Never heard of Rune Worth, but screenshots look promising for all three entries. Looks like the first one is on Sharp X68000 and MSX, while part 2 and 3 are PC98 only. Being on less popular platforms (in the west) their chances of being translated into English aren't particularly high. But hey maybe we'll invoke Dat HRG Effectâ„¢.

I guess we talked about this one enough on HRG to make it happen: www.gematsu.com/2024/04/cyber-citizen-shockman-3-the-princess-from-another-world-coming-to-ps5-xbox-series-ps4-xbox-one-and-switch-on-may-3"Ratalaika Games, in partnership with Masaya Games and Shinyuden, will release classic action platformer sequel Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on May 3. Wishlisting is now available via PlayStation Store. Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World first launched for PC Engine CD-ROM² in Japan on February 28, 1992. It has since been re-released on multiple platforms since, including PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PSP, PC, and Wii U."

The Lynx always looked so cool in mags - too bad it's mostly not great in practice. Still want the system someday, though!
That HRG effect is real. I didn't think the game was that amazing, but it's fantastic that we're getting these older games that never saw release. Hopefully it keeps happening, especially for some more RPGs!

It's alright. The PCE and PCE-CD had a real shortage of decent action-platformers, so Shockman 3 was at least decent enough to warrant playing. But yeah, it's no classic.

Cool beans. It is kind of weird it took 20 some years for this one to escape the N64. Maybe some strange Midway/Nintendo licensing, "64" in the title, or the source code being too hard to port around? I've played the new official PC release and it's awesome, also comes with a new episode like they've been doing with the ID classics getting updated ports. Now the modding scene is finally able to tackle Doom64 as well, I mean making their own maps, and porting it to other platforms like the DC here haha. Nice.

New remake/remaster of the original Wizardry incoming. (Not sure if this goes here or modern. Depends on what they add, I guess!)

If they manage to make that Wizardry remake less grindy than the original, I'd be interested in the Switch version.

It looks pretty appealing. I'm fairly interested in the newer Japanese/animefied ones. Kind of fascinating it's a bigger thing over there nowadays? Maybe something I can dig into after finishing up SMT stuff (though I also bought a but of Etrian Odyssey games on 3DS).
