Well ... it took me all month to do it, but I finally spelunked my way through the entirety of the initial Zork trilogy. A sincere congratulations, that's an impressive feat, especially in today's world. There are a considerable amount of high quality interactive fiction games from the late '70s and early '80s I wouldn't mind playing someday myself. Colossal Cave Adventure and A Mind Forever Voyaging for example.

As for my own thoughts on this month; I played quite a lot of games that I didn't even talk about. Most of them were dungeon crawlers of one sort or another. I did at least manage to beat DragonStomper and Venture. Neither of which I would have ever played, let alone beaten, if it wasn't for this theme. I have certainly come away with a greater respect and admiration for the 2nd generation of video games. And I had a lot of fun reading about everyone's experiences with this Club Retro concept. I think all participants have become richer gamers for it. Well, except for bonesnapdeez as this was already old hat for him.

Dang it, I thought Print Screen would do the screen shot in MAME. Just barely edged your score, 66,840. EDIT: Woo, it did! Just needed to paste into Paint. There's another keypress that puts it in the folder, but I don't remember it.

Sorry. Been holding that one since this morning. I was hoping you'd get just a little over 66,000 . BTW, you can do F12 for screenshots in MAME, I believe that's the default option. You can also change it to whatever you like by going in the main menu (Tab, then User Interface).

I've been playing that new Magic: The Gathering f2p game online a lot lately. It's made me sneaky and duplicitous.

I was doing really well on that run, but had a string of bad luck that saw me lose about three lives in a row. I might give it one more go this evening.
Also, pretty neat that MAMEUI logs playtime. I'm at 1h06m of playtime on the game.

Ironically, I'm feeling a bit burned out on them at the moment. Hope I at least contributed to the thread a bit. Good jobs dudes.

Nope, haven't had the chance to play today. I'm gonna try to beat this next time I play.
