SargeWell, that's it for tonight. I'm back in the lead, unless you pulled the same trick I pulled.

Huh. Well, I did finally run the entire Championship course this time, so maybe I can survive longer and get that score up. I acknowledge your mad Moon Patrol skills, though; I have to admit I only usually have one good run in me a night. I think what deep-sixed my last run was the sequence of plants with the rock at the end. I kept hitting the plant with my shot, so I'd land on the rock. I think I figured out I need to just get some speed and try to jump both.

I usually do best with my first daily run, too. Except last night, where it took three. And yeah, those plant / rock sequences are tricky. Personally I still have trouble losing lives stupidly against flying enemies; if you don't handle those blue ones that can create craters rapidly later on, you can end up trapped between enemy bombs and craters and then there's nothing you can do.

Dang it, I've come close, but can't quite get there. I need to practice the Championship course more. The rolling boulders got me this time.

I almost cleared the Championship course on one credit. So close!

That's quite a breakthrough. If you can go through both courses on one credit, you can just loop again and again until you make too many mistakes or reach the highest score (which I think is 999,990 or something like that). It'll be a while before I can try to take on that score. Too busy and tired lately, and I might change jobs soon.

I might change jobs soon. Getting tired of working from home, or something else?

No, I'll probably still work from home. It's the same company, but it's a completely different department. I've been pretty sick of my current job for a while. There'll be a training period where I'll have to commute to the office, but after that I can still work from home.

I work from home 90% of the time. It has its unique challenges (and obvious bonuses).
