Okay anayo , so it looks like Last Legion UX is more in line with Virtual On or Custom Robo than it does Armored Core or MechWarrior. Oh well, at least we know it exists now! I also found a 1995 DOS game that looks badass in screenshots: Apparently this game was developed by Family Productions, published by Microforum, only released in the USA and on DOS. Kinda surprised I've never heard of it before now. But there are SO many DOS games... and my ability to track DOS releases in the '90s was limited, compared to today's ocean of readily available information.

Dang, that does look cool. It would be really awesome if it plays as good as it looks!

I actually had Iron Blood back in the day because I found it at a wholesale store and it had a cool robot on the cover for four bucks. It's a South Korean game that was originally titled Interrupt. As for how it plays it's not stellar but it's not terrible either. The red guy is a complete rip-off of Assault Suits Valken, controlling almost exactly the same (but a bit more slippery) and with the same upgrade system and mostly the same weapons. The blue lady basically controls like Strider but not quite as fun so it gives you two very different ways to approach the game. It looks better than it plays as you'd expect but for a DOS sidescroller it's actually pretty solid. I think it's worth giving a shot especially if you like Assault Suits as it's definitely a shameless clone of that series.

Welp, now I'm officially interested in actually trying it out.

This thread got me around to creating a PC mech archive. When I have more time I'll post a list of all the games I put into said archive. Collecting games is easier than finding time to play them.

We need some sort of time compression device or something! I think Final Fantasy VIII talked about that, so maybe we can take notes.
