I did remember one I forgot on Famicom, and that's Dragon Scroll. I think it has enough elements to count as an ARPG.

I think it's solid, but there's one particular bit that is egregious in terms of proceeding. I never found any NPC with the hint that would have told me to perform said action. Other than that, it's a lot of fun, just be ready to consult a guide at some point.

Yeah you guys are losing me with Zelda, Castlevania, etc. The Castlevanias I listed literally have leveling via experience points, equipment change outs, NPC dialogue, some entries have shopping, and other hallmarks of action-RPGs. They just happen to be in a side-scrolling format. Zelda is eternally debatable, but I consider those games action-RPG-lite. toeiI agree about Willow on NES. I tried to get into it years ago, it didn't impress me at all.

So now for PC RPGs I've fully beaten:
Beneath Apple Manor | 9/10 Deus Ex | 9/10 Deus Ex: Invisible War | 8/10 Deus Ex: Human Revolution | 7/10 Fallout | 10/10 Fallout 3 | 9/10 Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel | 9/10 Freedom Force | 8/10 Lightning Warrior Raidy | 7/10 Lightning Warrior Raidy II | 7/10 Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire | 9/10 System Shock 2 | 9/10 The First Templar | 5/10 Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines | 9/10 Xanadu Next | 8/10 Ys I: Eternal | 8/10 Ys: The Oath in Felghana | 8/10 Ys Origin | 9/10 Ys The Ark of Napishtim | 7/10 Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection | 9/10
Definitely think I'm forgetting some there. And there's lots of PC RPGs that I got at least halfway through before bailing out of.

Now PC is likely where I'll get smoked by everyone else here. I don't think I've beaten that many on there. I'll have to dig around at some point and see. There are a few I'd like to finish, as always, but like most of my CRPG jaunts, the idea of playing many of them appeals more than actually playing them. (And that's true for a lot of the NES RPGs as well.) The sad part is that there's only one game on Ex 's list that I've beaten on PC, and that's Ys Origin. Hmm, I'm drawing a blank on anything else other than the recently-completed Lands of Lore: Throne of Chaos. I'll try to look a bit more tomorrow, there has to be a bit more than that. And several have PC ports of modern games that I finished on console instead, like Dragon Age: Origins.

SargeI'd like to see a list of the 6th and 7th gen RPGs you've beaten (including handheld) games. That request goes for everyone of course, but I think your list would be the largest in that regard.

Not a lot of PC RPGs for me either, since I was never into Western RPGs. I liked both Genesis and SNES Shadowruns, but that's about it.
DOS & Windows: Knights of Xentar* Farland Symphony* Legend of Xanadu Lightning Warrior Raidy Mad Paradox Ys Origins Ys: The Oath in Felghana Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim Zeliard
PC-98: Farland Story Farland Story II Farland Story VI
I'll bring this to a conclusion with the Dreamcast, PS2, GBA, PSP and DS next. Oh, and the one 360 game.

I'll just do PCE for now. I don't trust my Fami/NES/FDS list to be accurate based on playing so many of those games decades ago, and I don't play much beyond 16-bit. May write up a SNES/Gen list later on. TurboGrafx-16 / PC EngineBenkei Gaiden Cadash Double Dungeons Dungeon Explorer Final Lap Twin Makkai Hakkenden Shada Neutopia Neutopia II World Court Tennis TurboGrafx CD / PC Engine CDBlood Gear Cosmic Fantasy: Bouken Shounen Yuu Cosmic Fantasy 2 Dragon Knight II Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes Dungeon Explorer II Exile Exile: Wicked Phenomenon The Legend of Xanadu The Legend of Xanadu II Popful Mail Seiya Monogatari: AnEarth Fantasy Stories Xak I & II Ys Book I & II Ys III: Wanderers From Ys Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys --- I'm actually currently playing Xak III and hope to get to War of the Dead soon after. There are tons more to go. I'd like to finish the Startling Odyssey, Tenshi no Uta, and Far East of Eden games, someday, along with the first Dragon Knight, Basted, Mashou Denki La Valeur, and a handful of others. Zero interest in continuing with the Cosmic Fantasy series.

I added Pirates! to my NES list. I also removed Wild ARMs, because I forgot that I haven't beaten it, or its remake Alter Code F.
Anyway, here's some sixth-gen console madness. I'm debating whether the Devil May Cry games get close enough to count, but I'm leaning no. Ninja Gaiden for XBOX, maybe, but probably not as well. They're hack-and-slashers with very pronounced RPG elements. I include Lament of Innocence because there is a shop, NPCs if memory serves, upgrades to find, and interconnected areas much like the rest of the series, although it is more simplified than the Igavanias.
EDIT: Added GBA/NGPC.
