Yep it's a metric that can be used to measure many different activities. You've probably got an ELO over 9000 versus platformers. Very, very doubtful, but I appreciate the vote of confidence. I see the folks that speed run some of these games, and they put me to shame. Also related, but I'm pretty sure Xeogred would stomp me in any sort of race through the Mega Man series.

I guess I did log my MMX times last year, so you can compare lol
Mega Man X [Replay] Super Nintendo 1h 20m NR (Notes: Plus Hadouken) Mega Man X2 [Replay] Super Nintendo 2h 13m NR (Notes: Plus Shoryuken) Mega Man X3 [Replay] Super Nintendo 2h 20m NR (Notes: Gold Armor) Mega Man X4 [Replay] PlayStation 2h 15m NR (Notes: X 100%) Mega Man X5 [Replay] PlayStation 2h 50m NR (Notes: X 100% (in game Play Time: 1:35:37) Mega Man X6 [Replay] PlayStation 4h 35m NR (Notes: Souls Obtained: 5276 | Rescue: 117 | Clear Time (in game) 2:40:37 | Hunter Rank X: GA | Zero: PA)
I think some of those times are doubled for the other characters and I got all the trophies for these 6. Got the platinum for the X1-X4 set, then I think I did everything for X5-X6 on the other release but for proof of how I'm not obsessed with trophies, I didn't give a crap about X7-X8 on this set. lol

Shoot, those are way better than my times. Well, I might be close for MMX; I know where everything is and can blast through it pretty well. I don't typically get the Hadouken, though. I did get the Gold Armor in X3, though. I was debating which chip was best, and decided to check the GameFAQs message board. And the one thread I checked basically mentioned that you should grab any of the chips. So I didn't. If I were going to just do a normal, pick-a-chip route, it'd probably be the one that gives the extra air-dash, since that was really useful against the first Sigma phase.

Talking Chess Academy by iCore, produced in 2019. Yeah, went ahead and picked up that third chess computer. Being still in production, this one only cost $53 off Amazon with free shipping. What I like about owning three different chess machines is each one had a different programmer, so the algorithms should all be different. Using these machines I hope to break that 2000 ELO rating by this time next year. Something I never did as a teen... maybe in middle age? Just a personal goal, I'll stop boring you guys with this stuff now. This is just a port of original chess on new hardware, you can put that in the vintage "good finds" topic. /s I saw when these were for sale but didn’t bite at first cause I thought I didn’t need one. Then a week later I changed my mind and they were all out of stock. Oops, lol.

I did that with Steamlink. Think they were a freaking dollar a pop and I hesitated a moment too late to grab one, lol.

You are going to be sooo good at chess. That's the idea, I'd like to compete in a tournament in Atlanta in about a year. It's gonna be awesome getting my ass beat by a 13 year old. Edit: I also nabbed Chessaria last night for PC:
