I'm not much of a fan of net neutrality, at least not as it was being pushed versus what everyone's platonic ideal of it was. But even then, I still wonder how many people actually understand how Internet traffic and flow control work? It sure seems like a lot of advocates don't. We already pay for bigger bandwidth slices, which absolutely makes sense - use more, pay more. To me, it also makes sense that if you want a better guarantee of low latency for gaming or whatnot, you could pay for that, too.
TLDR - I'm real skeptical when government gets involved in this stuff, and the tech sites tend to lean heavily towards net neutrality.

"Sony Could Increase Your Game’s Difficulty If It Sees You Complain About It. Your emotions might define your gameplay in the future. Sony wants to adjust your game’s difficulty and gameplay based on emotions. The legal doc dubbed “AFFECTIVE GAMING SYSTEM AND METHOD” wants to introduce a system that analyzes the emotions of players by using a biometric system. The proposed tech would personalize the gameplay for each user depending on their current feelings. It may decrease difficulty for a player who complains while increasing it for another who finds it much easier until everyone has the intended or balanced experience.. It can also alter audio, brightness, and more to make gameplay more effective."

I wish Remedy the best.
But I won't be giving them my money for any of that.

Since this thread has also become kind of a "bad modern gaming stuff":
