Believe it or not, there was a time I lived off making and selling electronic music. And moreover making and selling electronic music software. This was during the years of 2002-2008. My biggest achievements personally were not commercial, but rather having Gary Numan send me his autographed autobiography, and Trent Reznor telling me he enjoyed my software having used it on Year Zero (the song The Great Destroyer specifically). Those two guys were my biggest music heroes back then, so that meant a lot. Eventually however, I got burned out on electronic music and wanted bigger money, so I took a real job. And yeah, these days I make far more money (with far less work) as an automation network engineer. Well we all change over time. My creative passion these days is analog game design.

Oh dang, I remember FastTracker. Used to use it to play back tracked music in the day. And it's awesome that you got to pursue that for at least some of your life, although I can understand the burnout as well.

Oh, dang, I missed this one. Treasure of the Rudras remix? Yes, please. That game has such a great OST.
Also, so does Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest.

Have you ever wondered what Flying Battery Zone from Sonic and Knuckles would sound like on a Commodore 64? Of course you have!

I used to be pretty religious about visiting OCRemix, but fell off the wagon a while back. Got to admit, though, I'm digging these jazz arrangements of SNES music in this album. mode7.ocremix.org

Could be BGM for modern Mario levels heh.
And yeah, guess times have changed since 2000's OCR when trance/techno ruled the land of VGM remixes.

I know there still is some in there. But yeah, there's quite the mix of musical genres, and I can appreciate it.
