You got that right. Mine's only a 48", but I can move it myself. Much nicer than the other monstrosity I have. I need to find a decent stand for it; that cedar chest doesn't supply me places to put consoles around it efficiently.

Yep, I've got a 50" Samsung I can move around myself, after the initial awkwardness of picking it up haha. At first I didn't love how thin newer HDTV's were getting... but now I'm not sure why I cared. I'm still hoping my grandmother will someday pass down her 50" Mitsubishi that has s-video, so it's kind of ancient for HDTV's and looks like a beast to move. I've still got a 20" APEX CRT I've lugged around since my high school days. I think it was maybe even my second or third main TV from childhood... it's awkward to move around since the front screenside is extremely heavy compared to the back. It's got a lot of battle scars from being jammed into cars for Xbox LAN parties and stuff haha. But yeah it has 5 AV inputs and s-video, so I've been hauling it around in hopes that I can have a real game room/office setup someday and use it more again. I guess I could now but I want a better TV stand for it. Only potential downside is that I think the picture is off and needs to be centered, the image pulls a bit in one of the corners... I'm hoping I can figure out how to repair that without blowing it up, if it's even doable.
I actually have a 4:3 Dell monitor (Ultrasharp 2001fp) that has s-video and just about every input ever, but I haven't really looked into it how to use it with old systems and setting up the sound, etc yet. I think it's possible though. It's just part of my PC battle station now for dual monitoring.

I've got a spare CRT that's a lot smaller that I picked up recently, but... it only has composite and component. No S-Video. Super weird, that! And it is small enough for me to move, thankfully. I still need to find a good place for it, because the picture quality is pretty nice.

Wow, that's a really uncommon setup for a monitor of that type. Very cool! How does S-Video or composite look on it? Any input lag to speak of?

I haven't tested it out yet.
Maybe I'll bust out my Saturn and try that out this weekend. I just wonder how I could get sound out of it...

You'll probably just want to run to external speakers straight from the console.

Yeah, there's a program called BleemSync that you can use to throw games on USB drives. It doesn't have OTG support yet, so you have to use a drive that doesn't suck down more than 100 mA from the front port, though. You can also put RetroArch on there. My understanding is that the hardware is a bit more powerful than the SNES Classic, basically the same SoC as the Fire TV Stick 4K.
