Makes me think of this Zelda II thing I saw the other day too:
I love the look of say Shovel Knight, or Cyber Shadow, panning out further for widescreen and all that. But growing up on the NES itself it almost feels wrong to see some of these classics or their assets used while zooming out so much. It just looks WRONG!

Yeah, I agree. Widescreen is fine, but I don't care for it zoomed out. Looks weird.

Still haven't played all those GB Mega Man games, but now that looks like a nice excuse to check this one out.

The best in my mind is absolutely MMIV and MMV, but MMIII is a nice remix of the third and fourth NES games. MMII is the jankiest by far, because Minakuchi Engineering didn't develop it.

I beat MM5 GB via the DX patch about a year and a half ago. It was better than I expected a GB MM to be. I'll check out the GB3DX version someday.
