I've beaten IV-V, since yeah I always heard great things about them. The space theme for V and the more interconnected Wily base at the end was really freaking cool. Kind of jealous this wasn't on the NES. The more zoomed out perspective and feel of the NES games is perfection to me and embedded into my DNA at this point, so that's why I'm never really jumping to play these GB ones haha. It's like here's the same graphics, but everything... feels so different!
The Xtreme games are really cool though and impressive for the GBC hardware.
So MM1-3 GB are probably some of the few ones I still haven't really played yet.

Yeah, they do feel a bit different, both with the slower movement and the zoomed in screen, but the former helps obviate issues with the latter. I prefer the proportions of NES Mega Man for sure, though. Mega Man X is fine, too, it's really just Mega Man 7 that goes overkill... yet that's still a lot more fun than most give it credit for.

I hate Mega Man 7 as a Mega Man game, but yeah it's still pretty solid compared to other stuff. I think Mega Man & Bass is a fair bit better than both MM7-8, such a cool vibe too, it's a masterful late SNES title. I'll never forget how it was called Mega Man 9 back in the early days of the internet haha.

Apparently RHDN will be closing it doors to new patch submissions. They will keep the news posts and the forums open, the rest of the site will be read-only, and the database has been sent to Archive.org.

Now this is awesome. Might be a fun way to revisit SH4 a third time for me. Wonder what's first, I know another human on Earth who plays SH4, or retirement? Flip a coin.

XeogredFor what it's worth I know one person. Literally the only other fan of SH4 I know is my brother. He loved that game on PS2. Back when it originally released anyway. I don't know if he even plays video games anymore.

It's a beautiful mess. Overall I still think it's one of the coolest horror stories/scenarios in gaming history to me. It's really divorced from SH1-3 and so out there in a cool way.
