I dreamed I was playing a Ninja Gaiden-like game on the Gameboy Advance. I was playing as a ninja jumping through hazards in a side-scrolling world. I think one of the end bosses was a huge samurai. It had sprite artwork and the difficulty level was very high, but it was highly addictive and I couldn’t put it down. Although I was playing on a device that looked like a Gameboy Advance model one, the screen was bright and crisp like an AGS-101 Gameboy Advance SP. I do remember the screen size was rather small and I had to hold my face up close to see it clearly.

That's totally what it could have been.

I have one of those, and yes, they are tiny. Good for teenage me if it had existed, not so good for adult me and my eye strain.

Yeah just thinking of playing a Micro makes my eyes hurt.

This is vague as I don't remember it well, but a few nights ago I had a dream involving a game that doesn't exist and this very board. I was reading a review post by Ex . I think this is what the game was like: a PS1 Japan-only game that was partly a FPS, but actually about dancing. I think you made enemies dance, and you also danced to avoid bullets, and it played like any rhythm game. The overall vibe was cutesy, with lots of bunny rabbits. I thought it sounded like the lamest thing ever, and I was genuinely surprised to see that Ex dug it. He gave it a 7.5. The review used his usual + and - format, but I don't remember the specifics.

Closest thing I can think of in our timeline:

Believe it or not, I've actually beaten Rayman Raving Rabbids. It was one of the first games I got for the Wii, mainly in preparation for a gaming party at some point.
For a second, I also thought about P.N. 03, and I figure a sequel to that game could be pretty interesting with those mechanics.

If it helps, the bunnies were in 2D and the artstyle was Madou Monogatari-ish. The environments were 3D.
