Maybe rip them all to ISO and use a virtual disc manager. I use an old (but still pretty good) manager called MagicDisc.

Yeah, some of them have that option. Hopefully that will be the case!

I remember a few years ago I got Sorcerian, which is five floppy disks. Dragged out my old Win XP machine, with the built-in floppy drive. Was about to do an install and then said "eff this" and made a little trip to Abandonia instead.
Anyway, Wizardry games are rad. Never played that spin-off, however.

Was about to do an install and then said "eff this" and made a little trip to Abandonia instead. I may very well go that route. I can probably find Nemesis: The Wizardry Aventure on www.old-games.com or www.oldgames.sk/en/ (excellent sites for finding archaic/esoteric PC abandonware). I'm still glad I bought a real copy of Nemesis though, as it came with all the manuals and reference cards. Finding literature stuff for old lesser known PC games can be hard. (Example; I was trying to find the documentation for Circuit's Edge the other day, and the best I found was a TXT file of the original manual.) Wizardry games are interesting, if not daunting. Researching games for this thread, I was looking at all the English (official and unofficial) Wizardry releases for Game Boy/Color and SNES/SFC - wow that's a lot of stuff. Hard to know which of it's really worth one's time, maybe it all is. The only Wizardry game I've put a lot of time into personally was Tale of the Forsaken Land on PS2.
Now that is an awesome FPDC, and extremely challenging (good thing), but not convenient at all in regards to backtracking (bad thing). I put about 26 hours in W:TotFL before I walked away because of the backtracking problem. I'm talking about you can warp back to town, but you can't warp back to where you were. So you might spend 30-45 minutes just retreading old ground, to return to where you left before. But even now, I can still hear its siren call taunting me to come back and finish it. Maybe I will damn it. The lonely and forlorn atmosphere of W;TotFL was outstanding. I think @tsumuri would really enjoy it.

In LWR2 tonight, I cleared Dungeon II's 2nd floor, and took out its boss. Now saved on floor three of eight. I'm getting there. Warp tiles have started to appear! Things are getting trickier. I took some more SFW screenshots: This has been a fun little FPDC thus far.

Lightning Warrior Raidy II = Defeated Dungeon 2's third floor boss, and made it to the fourth floor finally. I've got just a little over 5 hours in this so far. Some more screenshots...

On the other hand, a mirror shield would be very distracting for your opponents, especially if they happen to be girls...

a mirror shield would be very distracting for your opponents, especially if they happen to be girls Considering how many of the baddies in this game are women clearly obsessed with their own appearance (including Raidy), that's a solid point.
- Well this Club Retro is apparently a dud so far. I think @tsumuri is the only member who's beaten a game for it yet (thanks), and we're quickly edging towards the month being halfway over. I will at least beat LWR2 for this month... but it's disappointing no other members seem presently interested in this theme. So on that note, before we have any other dud themes for Club Retro; I think we should all double check that at least a handful of members actually plan to participate for each one. If not, we should replace dud themes with more popular ideas. So I'll navigate over to the official thread for this concern.

It ain't done yet! Remember, I've been in the gaming doldrums, and Silver Surfer last night was probably the first actual serious game time I've put in for a week or two. We shall see what the weekend holds.
