It really does look like the same game, with more moves. But those moves are looking pretty slick at least.

Kind of a different aesthetic for them. Almost looks like a dark Yoshi's Island to me. Looks worth keeping an eye on.

Hearing a lot of good things about this one:
Maybe one toei and I would dig?

Not sure about the Playmobil protagonist but everything else looks pretty cool. Whenever I'm in a indie gaming mood again maybe I'll look into it. EDIT - Didn't realize it takes place in an abandoned theme park, kind of hate that setting. If I was going to play one of those theme park horror games I'd probably go for Illbleed instead.

Silent Hill 3 features such a setting... Guess that'll tack on another 10 years before you play it.
It is an interesting aesthetic choice for the character designs. Maybe FF7 was the main inspiration with a mix of N64 vibes, it makes me think of N64 stuff a bit more than the PSX in a way actually.

Xeogred Oh truuuuuue... For Silent Hill I'll make an exception. And hey, maybe it'll change my mind about that setting. I think I just associate it with Goosebumps / Are You Afraid of the Dark? - style kidz horror.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm a big fan either. But in SH3's case it's just one of the several areas you go through like normal in those and they do that section well, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. Scary clown stuff is kind of lame too, but I do like IT.
