Has no one posted about this yet? Came out last year. The 2D sprites / 3D rotations look crazy stylish. I'm getting this once it goes on sale.

I think we did at some point. Pretty sure I've heard good things about it.

I'm getting Strider 2 meets... Blood Gear? vibes.

I'm getting Strider 2 meets... Blood Gear? vibes. Or Mad Stalker, which also has the combo-based gameplay. But I'm hoping it's more complex / interesting than Mad Stalker, cause you're pretty much just endlessly doing combos at random in that game. It's a very basic button-masher. And the specific way in which they mix 2D sprites with 3D environments is similar to that one Saturn game Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromarsu, except it looks cleaner. (This is the PCE-CD version, but the PS1 remake is much more combo-heavy).

Oh, wait, for some reason I confuse Blood Gear and Mad Stalker. It's definitely Mad Stalker I was thinking about, thanks for the correction! It also got a port to the Genesis, I don't think I bought it, though.

That's one of the weirdest aesthetic I've seen in a game. It's pretty interesting. Apparently it's a short RPG (3-5 hours).

Yeah I wouldn't mind playing this one. If I could get it anywhere other than Steam anyway.

Looks pretty art house but if it's short, that could be good.
