Can't dual-layered blu-rays can hold 50 GB? Doesn't 45 GB + 900 MB leave you with a few GB to spare? the effective storage capacity of the Blu-Ray is around 46.56 GB The PS5 and XSX both support Ultra HD Blu-ray disc. That format comes in three disc density standards: 50GB, 66GB, 100GB. I think the publisher chose to mass produce on the cheapest disc density to save money on production.

Oh, yeah, that too. Sounds like an Ubisoft decision. Pretty lame, much like when they cheap out on Switch carts.

(Yes Xeogred I replied to your post in a different thread, but posting Yahtzee's review of Assassin's Creed Odyssey here is the right thing to do.)

I can't decide if I'm more amazed that Zero Punctuation still exists, or that Yahtzee hasn't updated its presentation style whatsoever since its inception.

Does he still nitpick nonsense endlessly and makes complaints about game design that hinge on him sucking at games more than anything?
I remember a video of his where he said that 2D beat-'em-ups never really "worked" because you couldn't hit the enemies reliably since you couldn't tell where they were vertically. This was set to a montage of him trying to hit enemies and failing. I legitimately wondered if there was something wrong with his brain, some kind of rare, minor oddity that caused this problem for him, as I have never struggled with that, even when I was six years old. You might miss a hit here and there out of literally thousands, but actually, truly struggling with that? Super weird to me.

You might miss a hit here and there out of literally thousands, but actually, truly struggling with that? Super weird to me. My takeaway from that was that 2D beat-em-ups aren't for everyone. I grew up with stuff like TMNT arcade game at Chucky Cheese's as a pillar of my gaming landscape and just assumed everyone was like me and thought that genre was great. Then I got here and met people like Ex who just aren't crazy about it. So I just took that as the man's personal tastes. It might also be important to contextualize Yahtzee's reviews. Usually if he says, "This game is festering sewage." I take that to mean, "This game is okay." If he says, "I didn't hate this." I interpret that as, "This game is good." and if he says, "This game is good." I make a point of buying and playing that game.

makes complaints about game design that hinge on him sucking at games more than anything? I have thought this before more than once about ZP.
I used to watch ZP back in 2007 and 2008, then just faded off it. I really had no idea this was still going all the way into 2020. But hey if Yahtzee can make a living off it, more power to him. I grew up with stuff like TMNT arcade game at Chucky Cheese's as a pillar of my gaming landscape and just assumed everyone was like me and thought that genre was great. Then I got here and met people like Ex who just aren't crazy about it. I'm not "crazy" about 2D beat 'em ups, but I do enjoy the genre, including the excellent TMNT arcade. There are other games in the 2D beat 'em up stable that I think are outstanding, such as the Capcom D&D arcade entries, Double Dragon 1 & 2 on NES, Final Fight 3 on SNES, for but a few examples. That said, I wouldn't put "Beat 'em ups" in my top 5 favorite gaming genres, that's true.

I've always hated him, or will be nicer and say his style. I'll leave it at that.
